I need to make a worm drive and ring gear. The drive gear needs to be about 1/2" to 3/4" diameter and the ring gear needs to be about 5 1/2" diameter. They will be driven with a variable speed DC servo motor. I want to send this out to a shop to be made but they want drawings of gears. I'm not sure where to start on the designing of the gears such as # of teeth, pitches, etc. Can anyone help me?
