Definitions of terms:

Np - number of teeth, pinion
Ng - number of teeth, gear
PitAp - pitch angle, pinion
PitAg - pitch angle, gear
FAp - face angle, pinion
FAg - face angle, gear
RAp - root angle, pinion
RAg - root angle, gear
ODp - outside dia., pinion
ODg - outside dia., gear
Add - addendum
Ded - dedendum
DedA - dedendum angle
DPn - diametral pitch, numerator (2.5)
DPd - diametral pitch, denominator (3)
OCD - outer cone distance

Formulas:

Add = 1/DPd
Ded = 1.157/DPd
OCD = Np/DPn/2/SIN(PitAp)
DedA = ATAN(Ded/OCD)
PitAp = ATAN(Np/Ng)
PitAg = 90°- PitAp
FAp = PitAp + DedA
FAg = PitAg + DedA
RAp = PitAp - DedA
RAg = PitAg - DedA
ODp = Np/DPn + 2 x Add x COS(PitAp)
ODg = Ng/DPn + 2 x Add x COS(PitAg)
