Thanks for the info. I have Helix and have used it a few times. There is another program called Gitara which calculates the index gears and does a wonderful job. My problem is with the equations. Why do I need the 12/K om the end of the equation for the K=8 and K=24 machines and for the K=18 and K=12 I do not need it?
