Thanks for the lead to some pictures (however, I can't get page 200 to show up now...). Now that I see how "shaft angle" is defined, I have to revise my specs to 110 (preferred) or 35 deg. (Ignore earlier post and correction.)
I notice the tooth length (or whatever that nomenclature is) is reduced as the shaft angle increases. Is that necessary? Or is it just allowed by having more teeth meshing, thus keeping the torque capacity the same as the others in this family?
