Most Gleason machines that cut spiral bevels, the same machine will cut hypoids. This is true as long as the machine has an offset setting to accurately displace the gear (and pinion) axis vertically.
Except for unequal pressure angles (where loaded side differs from coast side) the tooling is the same.
