The ratio of 127/50 is exactly 2.54 which is the ratio to convert inches to centimeters. I think you would have to incorporate these gears in the feed change gear set to change to metric. Would this change 10 TPI to 10 T/CM? 10Threads/CM is 1mm/thread or 1mm pitch. Not sure how useful this would be for the other standard TPI's geared up on your lathe.
