Coarse pitch gears

I have a Pfauter RS3,which is rated at 1.7 dp at 48 inches. I am curious, does that mean that the machine is capable of cutting that dp (1.7) in one pass full depth? I have an inquiry to produce 20 module gears of 16 teeth with an approxiamete diameter of 14.100.
My question is can this be cut on the Pfauter RS3 in progressive depths?
